This Omeka site is managed by Research and Instructional Services of Virginia Tech Libraries, Blacksburg, Virginia. Begun in November, 2013, the first exhibition presents material collected by Brian Katen, Chair, Landscape Architecture, about historic speedways in Virginia, viewing them as recreational alterations of the landscape, rich with community history.
